Quickstart

The server needs no account and no key. Connect a client, or call it directly over HTTP.

#1. Connect

In Claude, add OptimistFi from Claude's connectors directory. In any other MCP client, add the server by its URL; in Claude Code, for example:

claude mcp add --transport http optimistfi https://mcp.optimistfi.com/mcp

Every other client is on Connect a client. To call the server from your own code, continue below.

#2. List the tools

The server speaks JSON-RPC over HTTP. Send tools/list to see every tool with its description and parameters:

#3. Call a tool

Ask for a stock's full read, its investment case, valuation and latest quarter, with answer:

#4. Read the result

The answer is JSON in the result's content. Each piece names the company, when the fact happened and when it was read, how sure it is, and the source it came from. Reading a response covers every field.
